The new Horsfall Community Stadium athletics facilities will reopen to the general public on 12 April
1) we will offer public sessions to all-comers, on Monday to Friday mornings, 9 till 11am. You simply turn up, pay at the cafe (to the left of the main stadium gates on Cemetery Road), and go. The fee is £3.50 for adults and half-price for under-18s. This will open on Monday, 12 April.
2) if you discover that you are wanting to use the track a lot, you may find an annual pass for £30 better. But this means registering with Bradford Airedale AC, the home club at the stadium. We can supply you forms for this. This will also give you access on other times (see point 3).
3) for club members (Bradford Airedale AC and a couple of clubs with which it has a partnership, such as Leeds Bradford Triathlon), the track is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6 to 9pm, and Sunday mornings before 1pm. But you have to be a registered member, as stated above. The track for club-nights will open on Tuesday, 3o March. If you are already a member of a club, please let us know.
We are very keen for the track to get maximum usage, so please do spread the word among your mates or work colleagues.
The track has been recently cleaned and the new Memorial Garden next to the cafe will be a pleasant place to have a drink and a chat after your session, particularly when the weather improves.
