Bradford Airedale AC has set up the Bradford Airedale Athletic Trust and Foundation as a community-interest-company (CIC) for the following purposes:

1. The promotion of athletics in all its disciplines, particularly the encouragement of running, in south Bradford and vicinity (within three miles of Horsfall stadium, Cemetery Road, BD6 2NG, “the catchment”), without consideration to age, sex, or any other form of discrimination.
2. Supporting development and outreach work for the ends stipulated in Object 1 by Bradford Airedale Athletic Club or its successor organisation.
3. Maintaining, developing, and managing athletics facilities within the catchment.

To support Object 3 above, the Foundation is submitting a bid to the government’s Community Ownership Fund for £250k to refurbish the track at Horsfall Stadium in 2025 and, through a sublease agreed with Bradford Council and Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC, to maintain it afterwards.
